Would I then be able to access the network drives from home by logging into my Microsoft account if they were both connected? I’m not sure whether it could be possible I don’t think so , but I wouldn’t recommend it for security reasons: every resource that you use at work should not be accessible from outside the corporate network unless you rely on a secure channel such as VPN.
